Woody Meadows on Display

At the Australian Landscape Conference (ALC, March 17-21) Claire Farrell and John Rayner will be featuring Woody Meadows as part of a Nativism and Naturalism Masterclass including site visits and a classroom session at Burnley to learn how it’s done. Interest in Woody Meadows is gaining momentum across Australia, and the Masterclass is fully booked. See more on the Masterclass and the excellent program of ALC speakers.

Woody Meadows and flowery swards will be showcased in a display garden by Claire and John in collaboration with Jac Semmler of Super Bloom and Hassell Studio at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MiFGS, 29 Mar-2 Apr). The garden is designed as a dynamic, dense, ‘naturalistic’ planting and will be a beautiful showcase of diverse and climate appropriate species. Big thanks to Michael White and Jon Hazelwood (Hassell), and MJC Horticulture for their help in making this happen, and our supporters Mansfields Propagation Nursery, APB and Austflora Pacific.
