Woody research goes west

Murdoch University PhD student Ali Babington is looking at how Western Australian species perform in Woody Meadow plantings, with a focus on species distributed from Perth northwards to Geraldton. As part of her research, Ali has installed two Woody Meadows with the help of volunteers – one in the City of Cannington, Perth, and another at Murdoch Uni, and will be monitoring plant performance as part of her PhD. See the Cannington site details including species here.

Research survey

Ali is conducting a survey to see how Perth residents perceive different urban plantings and how this might influence the composition of future Woody Meadows. If you live in Perth and would like to get involved, join the survey here.
